Terms and Conditions

Registration is completely free. No person is authorised to request a payment, processing fee, facilitation fee, gift, transfer or other consideration for registration, verification or support.

Registration does not create a right, entitlement, promise or guarantee that an applicant will be selected or receive a token. Only applicants selected and approved by PawaPlay for the relevant Programme round will receive support.

The Programme is intended to support vulnerable households and qualifying small businesses in participating Lagos communities. Beneficiaries may be selected randomly, by vulnerability, by location, or through other fair and reasonable operational criteria determined by PawaPlay.

Selection will be made without preference, favouritism or discrimination based on political affiliation, ethnicity, religion, gender, personal relationship, status or influence.

Applicants must provide complete and correct full names, contact details, residential or business location, electricity-provider details, meter number or customer-account information, and any other requested information. PawaPlay may verify this information before approval.

Only one application is permitted per household, small business, meter, electricity account, address or beneficiary unless PawaPlay expressly allows otherwise. Duplicate, false, misleading, manipulated or fraudulent applications are null and void. PawaPlay may cancel support, disqualify an applicant and refer suspected fraud to the appropriate authorities.

Support is limited, non-cash electricity credit, ordinarily delivered as a prepaid token or approved electricity credit. It is non-transferable, cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, and is subject to the relevant Programme allocation, verification and electricity-provider requirements.

PawaPlay may amend, suspend, reduce, expand or discontinue any Programme round where necessary for funding, security, legal, operational or verification reasons.

The Programme may receive support, funding, facilitation or engagement from public, community and private stakeholders. The Lagos State Government, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Local Governments, CDAs, electricity providers, funders and partners are not responsible or liable for selection, non-selection, fulfilment, redemption or any Programme outcome.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By registering, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted them.
