Programme Disclaimer and Non-Entitlement Notice
Effective date: 1 October 2026
This notice clarifies the voluntary, limited and independently administered nature of Lagos Power Connect.
1. Limited social-support initiative
Lagos Power Connect is a limited electricity-support initiative. It is not a statutory welfare entitlement, public utility service, electricity-provider obligation, loan, grant contract or continuing benefit.
2. Independent administration
The Programme is operated by PawaPlay Digital Limited. References to public institutions, community groups, funders, electricity providers or other stakeholders do not mean that any such party guarantees selection, token delivery or any particular outcome.
3. No liability of supporting stakeholders
Where public institutions or other stakeholders support, fund, facilitate or engage with the Programme, they do not assume responsibility for individual registration decisions, verification, token delivery, redemption, data-entry errors, technical failures or any related claim.
4. No cash or guaranteed value
Support is issued only to approved beneficiaries, may vary by round, and is ordinarily delivered as electricity credit. It has no cash equivalent, is not transferable and may expire or become unusable in accordance with the token issuer's or electricity provider's rules.
5. Right to amend or end
PawaPlay may change, pause or end the Programme, including any support round, at its discretion where reasonable for funding, security, legal, operational or other Programme-management reasons.
